I made this cedar bassinet for our new kiddo this fall. The sides 'float' a half inch above inwardly chaffered base to ensure plenty of air flow. The gently rounded chaffered top edge gives an open and inviting feel, while avoiding any sharp angles that might cause injury. Steel hairpin legs round out the bassinet adding a midcentury modern feel. Our little girl full heartily approved of her first little piece of furniture. 

Brass, Navy cloth covered wire, LED Edison globe bulbs.

Black patina finished steel, custom made round brass head bolts and garage door pully wheels come together to make a clean barn door rail set.
